We are all works in progress - or as I see it, masterpieces in the making. In therapy, my hope is to create a safe place for you to share the joys and challenges of being human in this world. It is a place to explore patterns that continue to show themselves, a place to explore how family, community, institutions, and social systems have impacted us, and a place to grow in awareness so as to participate more authentically in the fabric of life. I firmly believe we all carry the potential to transcend our history and patterns and view my job not as healer but as a human creating a space for you to find the healer within yourself.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, and relationship problems and often work with high-functioning, creative individuals who struggle with perfectionism, enough-ness, and other self-limiting beliefs. I also specialize in working with people from multicultural backgrounds, helping unpack the impact of immigration, acculturation, or the pressure to belong.
The healing journey starts with you and there’s no right or wrong way to begin. When you are ready, I offer free phone consultations where we can talk about your hopes for therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about the process.
