I see therapy as an evolving, nonlinear, and shared journey where we get to be curious and explore together your story and the various parts of yourself—conscious and unconscious. This exploration fosters more awareness, trust, and acceptance of oneself, as well as stronger and more authentic relationships with others.
At the core of this work lies our connection. I truly believe that we each already hold the wisdom, strength, and competence to grow from our struggles and alchemize our difficulties into valuable insight. My role in your journey is as a guide and a companion. You hold your internal compass while I bring in attentive inquiry, loving presence, and the safe and caring frame needed for contacting and befriending your whole self. I also bring my own humanness — an open, authentic, and straightforward approach to this process of self-discovery and growth.
My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I work from a holistic lens that views mind, body, and soul as inseparable components of our being and healing process. My clinical approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in mindfulness and somatic practices. Some of the modalities that inspire my work include depth psychology, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt, Hakomi, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am dedicated to providing safe, trauma-informed, and LQBTQ+-friendly care that is body and sex-positive, culturally sensitive, and centered around my clients’ needs.
