I work with individuals who are looking to explore the underlying experiences from their past that shape their present suffering, those who have struggled to feel safe in their own bodies, and those who want to welcome greater presence, joy, and agency into their lives right now. With couples and families, I look for the dynamics that create a unique system that has its successes and its stressors. Together, we'll find ways to support you to communicate from a place of openness rather than defensiveness so that you can begin to hear each other through the noise and work toward resolution. Trauma-informed and LGBTQIA-affirming.
My style with clients is warm, funny, compassionate, authentic, and deeply engaged. I approach all parts of you with non-judgment and curiosity and will support you to offer yourself the same grace. I'm trained in somatic psychotherapy and take an integrated, relational approach, incorporating psychodynamics, mindfulness, and embodied awareness. I'm also trained in Relational Somatic Healing, a modality that aims to ease suffering that arises from developmental wounding.
Capacity for self-love is within all of us, but we can't always find our way alone. Often it is in relationship to another that we begin to heal. In my role as your therapist, I will both appreciate you as you are today and hold the vision of who you know you can someday be. And in the times when you lose faith in that vision, I will be there to hold it for you.
To schedule a 15-20 minute consultation at no cost, please reach out by phone call, text, or email. I typically respond within 24-48 hours.
