A Little About Me

As the daughter of two artists, embodied creative expression has always been an important part of my life. It was always easier for me to express myself with visuals and movement than with words. At the same time, various health issues and neurological processing differences also left me confused and alone in understanding the language of my body. Instead of learning to listen to its sensations and symptoms, I learned to doubt them, to numb against them, and to keep on keeping on. For many of us, even those of us who are highly sensitive and intuitive, we are raised in a world that teaches us to ignore or override the ways in which our bodies speak to us and signal their need for support and holding. It is through my own healing journey that I have found my way back to the body. It is also what solidified my passion and desire to support others in their healing journey. Healing is hard. It is messy and non-linear. It is also something that we do not need to do alone.

I believe the depth and complexity of the healing process to be much like the ocean. The waves crashing one after another onto the shore like a pulsing heartbeat; the ebbs and flows of the tides mirroring the rise and fall of our breath. The ocean’s seascapes transforming itself from fiercely overwhelming to joyfully playful. It can be a powerful force to reckon with at one moment, while also bringing calming peace in another. I hope to support you. To guide and collaborate with you as you explore, navigate, calm, and reclaim the seascapes of your own inner world.

My work is deeply rooted in transformative justice, liberation psychology, expressive art practices, and trauma-informed care. I am also inspired by both my Puerto Rican and Irish heritage and weave ancestral magic, spirituality, astrology, and ritual into my practice. In my sessions I work authentically and relationally so that we may honor your pacing, embrace non-linearity, and unearth your unique and resilient inner wisdom.

I have experiences of living with chronic illness, ADHD, and multiculturalism.
