We are wired for connection — with our internal selves, with others, and within broader communities. But oftentimes there are barriers. It can be something we learned when we were small and trying to survive, a message from dominant culture that plagues our sense of self, oppressive systems that can be exhausting to fight, and/or an emotional wound that needs time to heal. Whatever brings you to therapy, your awareness of seeking someone to walk with you on this healing path is a great first step!
I care about therapy being a secure, nonjudgmental space where clients can comfortably “try on” new ways of being to see what fits. I hold a "take what you want and leave the rest" approach. My style is collaborative, mindful, somatic, strength-based, compassionate, and (when appropriate) playful. You are the expert on your lived experience, and I'm here to walk alongside you as you become even more you!
I am passionate about clients connecting to their authentic selves and finding places of belonging, and my hope is (with time and trust) our therapy room can be one of those places. Please reach out if you think we'd be a good fit.
