CMP newsletter on Substack

For many years, we have offered a newsletter to the community bringing you inspiration and information about mental health, psychotherapy, and wellness. It began as a seasonal newsletter and then moved into a monthly one. We have recently switched platforms from MailChimp to Substack so we wanted to reintroduce you to this newsletter in case you’re not familiar with it.

What Is The Center For Mindful Psychotherapy Newsletter?

This is our monthly newsletter where we share useful resources, tips, inspiration, and more for anyone who is interested in the world of therapy, mental health, and wellness. We invite you to join us here; the newsletter is free. It’s open to colleagues, clients, and anyone who appreciates learning more about mental health in today’s society.

What You’ll Find in the Center For Mindful Psychotherapy Newsletter

Each newsletter typically has a theme that might resonate with the month, the season, or what is happening in the world around us. For example, past issues have been themed around the critical importance of rest, gratitude including when it feels challenging to be thankful, and ADHD awareness.

We bring you information and inspiration through a variety of different approaches so that you can take what works for you and leave the rest:

  • Blog-style articles
  • Inspirational quotes and images
  • Guided meditations
  • Spotify playlists
  • Recommended reading, watching and resources
  • Links to relevant recent news

And more. While we have a format we tend to follow, we also adapt to what we feel our the current needs of our readers. We believe in allowing for intuitive flow.

Why Substack?

We recently switched to the Substack platform so the newsletter looks visually a bit different than in the past. We thought some of you might have questions about why we made this switch. There were a few reasons:

  • We like the minimal aesthetic style as we feel it creates spaciousness for reading the material.
  • It allows us to reference and link to past newsletter topics that we have shared, building a more useful resource for all.
  • There’s more flexibility for you in terms of how you want to receive and interact with the newsletter. You can continue to receive it in your inbox monthly as normal. Alternatively, you can read it on the Substack website or app. You can also comment if you have thoughts to share.

Those are a few of the reasons. Regardless, the mission of bringing you information and inspiration monthly remains the same.

So, sign up for the newsletter today.
